The VGR (Variable Gauge Ring) is a patent pending tool for gauging any wear component in the BHA. The tool maintains full gauge and concentricity throughout its range of 3.50" to 13.75" with tighter tolerances than IADC and API guidelines. The VGR is simple to use, calibrate and improves the accuracy and repeatability of measurements regardless of personnel.

Constructed from corrosion resistant aluminum and stainless steel, the VGR requires minimal maintenance. It's mechanical design allows the tool to be used anywhere on a rig without special hot work permits. One VGR replaces dozens of gauge ring tools and can be configured for any practical size range.
